So the conference was a huge HIT. We had some 60 plus people show up to our booth to demo with our product.
The Ottawa community was extremely welcoming and supportive of DOT’s missions and goals.
I will try and reach out to each and every one of you individually. Either way, feel free to contact me otherwise as well.
Just wanted to give a quick shout out to our developer Andi for making sure everything was setup properly for the demo, great job!
For those who could not make it, we had the diagnostic in place and were demoing that on our Android application with the headband. We will be uploading pictures soon; so do check us out on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn.
And for those of you who are interested, you can watch my live presentation by clicking on the link below:

WearHacks Montreal 2015
Congratulations to WearHacks for their one-year anniversary! WearHacks holds a special place in my heart since that’s where DOT was conceived. Not to mention the amazing people who form WearHacks; so down-to-earth and humble, I love you guys!
I had the honour to be a mentor there last weekend, and it was truly inspiring to see all the ideas and creativity that cultivates in such a hub.
Investors from Canada-China Chamber of Commerce
Canada-China Chamber of Commerce was seeking start-up companies in medical device and high-tech industries to attend a business breakfast hosted by DS Welch. The event aimed to welcome a Chinese delegation of six private companies and venture capital companies.
DOT formed some meaningful connections with a few, and will be following up with them soon.
I also met with the MMAGroupe to hash out the road-map for certification in order to begin testing. We might be on to something, that’s about all I can tell you for now.
Futurpreneur Loan application is to be completed this weekend, fingers crossed!
Government funding applications are still in process and hopefully should be filed by late October.
DOT is also looking to hire a gaming developer, front-end developer and community manager.
Feel free to refer someone you may know of.
We have the diagnostic aspect in place, and are currently overhauling our application interface.
Gaming development would begin this week as well.
